PS:  I believe the childs name may have been, Samuel Price.   Born and died around 1900 (maybe).

I would still like to learn more about this child.

Sent: Thursday, May 24, 2001 2:23 PM. Subject: Lea County Query. I am trying to track down information on some of my ancestors, BART & MARTHA ANN HIGGINS ARMSTRONG, who reportedly moved from OK to Hobbs NM about 1906, perhaps accompanied by family members, some of whom were possibly LAURA (or Laurie) ARMSTRONG, their dau....don't know if she had already married or what her married name might have been. Son, THOMAS L. ARMSTRONG and maybe some of Martha's family (the HIGGINS). Have been told that they had a rough time trying to survive in that area and may have moved to another location in NM, but don't believe that Bart or Martha moved back to OK...they probably remained there the rest of their lives. Martha had been married before, to Bart's brother James W. Armstrong...they had 5 children, but don't believe any of them accompanied the family to NM. James was killed in TX about 1864 (the family owned land & livestock in Wise or Jack Cos in TX). Any help will be appreciated. Thanks, Diane Patrick Armstrong.
